Setup email in Outlook Express / Outlook 2000
Outlook 2000/Outlook Express
- Open Outlook.
- Click on 'Tools'.
- Click on 'Accounts'.
- Click 'Add'.
- Select Mail.
- It will take you through a wizard. First enter your name under the Display Name field.
- Click Next.
- Enter your e-mail address.
- Click Next.
- Select POP3.
- Enter the incoming mail server, pop.linkumail.com.
- Enter the outgoing mail server, smtp.linkumail.com.
- Click Next.
- Enter your e-mail address (yourusername@yourdomain.com) as your 'Account Name'.
- Enter your password.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Click on 'Tools'.
- Click on 'Accounts'.
- Select the account we just added (possibly named mail.linkusystems.com).
- Click on 'Properties'
- Click on the 'Servers' tab.
- Check the My server requires authentication box.
- Click on the Settings button.
- Make sure Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected.
- Click 'OK'.
- Click 'OK' to close window.
